ArcelorMittal Construction Solutions (AMCS), member of the British Association of Reinforcement (BAR), has announced the granting of a UK patent on its Quick & Zip Splice diaphragm wall and pile cage connection systems. The granting of this patent is the fruition of many years detailed work by the AMCS team to meet the stringent requirements of the Intellectual Property Office. The patent granted covers both the connection devices and the arrangement of the diaphragm wall or pile cages to form the connection. The new connection systems will enable faster onsite installation of prefabricated cages.
